It is sad to hear the news about the Queen of Rock n Roll Tina Turner passing overnight after she had suffered multiple life-threatening illnesses.
Tina Turner (born Anna Mae Bullock; (November 26, 1939 – May 24, 2023) was an American-born and naturalized Swiss singer, songwriter, dancer, actress, and author.
Widely referred to as the "Queen of Rock 'n' Roll", she rose to prominence as the lead singer of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue before launching a successful career as a solo performer.
Turner began her career with Ike Turner's Kings of Rhythm in 1957. Under the name Little Ann, she appeared on her first record, "Boxtop", in 1958.
In 1960, she debuted as Tina Turner with the hit duet single "A Fool in Love". The duo Ike & Tina Turner became "one of the most formidable live acts in history".
They released hits such as "It's Gonna Work Out Fine", "River Deep – Mountain High", "Proud Mary", and "Nutbush City Limits", before disbanding in 1976.
In the 1980s, Turner launched "one of the greatest comebacks in music history".
Her 1984 multi-platinum album Private Dancer contained the hit song "What's Love Got to Do with It", which won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year and became her first and only number-one song on the Billboard Hot 100.

This weekend Perth is hosting a big tribute to honour Bon Scott lead singer of AC/DC.

The record was broken again on Friday the 3rd March 2023 with over 110,000 fans.

Only a few weeks after Lisa Marie Presley’s death it’s been reported that Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie’s Mother and Elvis Presley ex-wife will be challenging Lisa Marie’s will.
Priscilla Presley is contesting the validity of their late daughter Lisa Marie's will following her death last month.
The lawyers reportedly claiming she was not made aware of the 2016 amendment, when she been removed as estate trustee of Lisa Marie's will.

Lisa Marie Presley (February 1, 1968 – January 12, 2023) was an American singer-songwriter. She was the only child of singer and actor Elvis Presley and actress Priscilla Presley, as well as the sole heir to her father's estate. Jeff Beck, British guitar legend who rose to fame as an influential rocker in the 1960s, dies at the age 78.
Jeff Beck, the British rock star known for his mastery of guitar, died of bacterial meningitis, his family announced Wednesday.
Geoffrey Arnold Beck (24 June 1944 – 10 January 2023) was an English rock guitarist who rose to prominence with The Yardbirds and afterward fronted the Jeff Beck Group and Beck, Bogert & Appice. In 1975, he switched to a mainly instrumental style with a focus on innovative sound, and his releases spanned genres ranging from Blues Rock, Hard Rock, Jazz Fusion, and a blend of guitar-rock and electronica.
Beck, who ranked fifth on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time, is credited with having influenced a generation of musicians and was known for blending all types of music — hard rock, jazz, funky blues and even opera.
Beck, an eight-time Grammy winner, earned two spots in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, in 1992 with the Yardbirds and as a solo artist in 2009.
Gene Simmons, the bassist for KISS, was among many who wrote tributes to Beck on social media after his death.
"Heartbreaking news to report the late, great Jeff Back has sadly passed," Simmons tweeted. "No one played guitar like Jeff. Please get a hold of the first two Jeff Beck Group albums and behold greatness. RIP."

We are sadden to bring this news to you. Tony Pantano, Famous Italian-Born Australian singer and Actor died from cancer. The King of Cabaret He on Saturday 7th January 2022 with his family by his side. Tony Pantano was born in Messina, Italy and arrived in Australia with his parents in 1956. At the age of 12, Tony worked with his father at local Italian dances and weddings, playing slap bass and singing. At the age of 15 he formed his own pop group Isy and the Dynamics. Isy and the Dynamics recorded the single "One Night/Let Bygones Begone" on the In label in 1965. Pantano changed his style from pop to Latin American when he joined the group Sammy and The Dolphins as their lead vocalist and bass player. Sammy and The Dolphins released the one extended play titled, The Dolphins At Sergio's Rendezvous, recorded at the Allan Eaton Recording Studios in Melbourne. Following this release, Tony did a tour of Vietnam entertaining the troops. On his return to Australia he entered the talent show Showcase and won his way to the Grand Final. Pantano's first single "Every Time You Touch Me" was released in 1971 on the Air label and reached the Australian top 40. A second single "Tonight" was released on the His Master's Voice label and peaked at number 80 on the Australian charts. The Australian Entertainment Mo Awards (commonly known informally as the Mo Awards), were annual Australian entertainment industry awards. They recognise achievements in live entertainment in Australia from 1975 to 2016. Pantano won 11 awards in that time. |

Jimmy Barnes cancels all upcoming shows as he makes major health announcement.
He Said ‘It's finally caught up with me.’
The Australian music legend, 66, shared a video on Instagram admitting his non-stop performances for close to 50 years have “finally caught up with me”.
Has cancelled all his upcoming gigs, while he undergoes immediate hip and back surgery.
The Hoodoo Gurus will be the replacement for the gigs he has cancelled - the Hoodoo Gurus, who will headline the three big shows in Wollongong, Torquay and at Rochford Wines.
